[DE] [Failed]DVB-T IDTV-S
« on: 2014/06/01, 10:09:59 »
Hallo,

Bus 005 Device 003: ID 1d19:110c Dexatek Technology Ltd.

journalctl -b nach Einstecken:

Jun 01 09:32:51 neskaya kernel: usb 5-1: new high-speed USB device number 3 using xhci_hcd
Jun 01 09:32:51 neskaya kernel: usb 5-1: New USB device found, idVendor=1d19, idProduct=110c

Jun 01 09:32:51 neskaya kernel: usb 5-1: Product: Android MobileTV dongle

Jun 01 09:32:52 neskaya mtp-probe[18642]: bus: 5, device: 3 was not an MTP device

Allerdings sagt qwerthi in diesem Post http://forum.siduction.org/index.php?topic=3988.msg33945#msg33945

[Works] "out of the box"

Journalctl -b bringt mir jetzt:

Quote
Jun 01 11:38:07 neskaya kernel: usb 4-1: new high-speed USB device number 3 using xhci_hcd
Jun 01 11:38:07 neskaya kernel: usb 4-1: New USB device found, idVendor=1d19, idProduct=110c
Jun 01 11:38:07 neskaya kernel: usb 4-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
Jun 01 11:38:07 neskaya kernel: usb 4-1: Product: Android MobileTV dongle
Jun 01 11:38:07 neskaya kernel: usb 4-1: Manufacturer: Dexatek
Jun 01 11:38:07 neskaya systemd-udevd[298]: unknown key 'BUS' in /lib/udev/rules.d/60-libgnuradio-fcd3.7.3.rules:2
Jun 01 11:38:07 neskaya systemd-udevd[298]: invalid rule '/lib/udev/rules.d/60-libgnuradio-fcd3.7.3.rules:2'
Jun 01 11:38:07 neskaya systemd-udevd[298]: specified group 'usrp' unknown

Die entsprechende UDEV-Regel:
Quote
# Funcube Dongle
ACTION=="add", BUS=="usb", SYSFS{idVendor}=="04d8", SYSFS{idProduct}=="fb56", GROUP:="usrp", MODE:="0660", SYMLINK+="FCD"
# Funcube Dongle
SUBSYSTEMS=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="04d8", ATTRS{idProduct}=="fb56",GROUP:="usrp", MODE:="0660", SYMLINK+="FCD"

Quote
alias:          usb:v1D19p110Cd*dc*dsc*dp*ic*isc*ip*in*

Hi enlightend,

it leeds (again) to rtl2832u, which I tried with no luck.

Thank you for the shot anyway.

I don't understand how you make that connection, it's an IT9135, which has separate drivers and firmwares.

I can't connect.

You are right, the device may need another driver, thats the question I started this thread.

The device is not in the "supported" list on  http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/ITE_IT9135#IT9135_Devices, so I have no idea which firmware I may need or not.
According to this page the kernel modules should be
Quote
Modules IT9135 and IT9137 devices are supported by V4L through the following modules.
dvb-usb-it913x it913x-fe
which are --- ups! --- were! present in towos kernel resp. in /lib/modules.

rechecking shows latest kernel where the moduls are present is 3.14-6.... Will try to digg in again by installing one of the older kernels I have in my cache still...

 EDIT: Hours later...
Used Kernel 3.14.6 and newest firmware from github dvb-usb-it9135-02.fw, no change.

I stop my tries now, would have been nice to get it to work with my laptop too, but I've investet far to much time in between...

In newer kernels there is only tuner_it913x, the other modules
dvb-usb-it913x it913x-fe

doesn't exist anymore.

ah, thanks,

should have searched for it913x insteed of the full module names; less work, better results :)

However, can't get it to work on siduction.
