[EN] get rid of prev/next
« on: 2013/11/22, 14:38:04 »
I think there is a problem with the way these links are (not) working (or else I don't understand what they are intended for).  Screenshot below.

dibl, that is not meant for previous/next page but for previous/next topic in that subforum. At first I got caught, too, but it is more obvious in german as we have vorherige/nächste (with Seite) and vorheriges/nächstes (with Thema).  ;D

Well, I thought that, but when I tested some random topics/threads, I find that the "previous" link does NOT take me to the vorherige topic.  Does it work correctly on the DE side?

Hmm - the logic behind it is a little bit ill minded - prev and next jump to the prev or next topic in the board. if you already on the newest topic, it switch to the oldest :D

Maybe we should get rid of prev/next and instead put in that space a font resizing button? ;)

ok - we should get rid of the prev/next - and  (maybe) instead a button for a screenreader :D
