That's what I found so far.

Same for me
hopefully make log attached from :
/var/lib/dkms/nvidia-current/470.57.02/build/make.log

I'd just run a full DU and everything went well with kernel 5.14.3-1-siduction-amd64 and the new Nvidia-driver 470.63.01. My System is up and running!
Thanks everybody and have a thriving week ;)
-
My DU has brought me Nvidia-driver 470.63.01 now.
All is working fine again on kernel 5.14.3-1
-
Confirmed -- Nvidia graphics working perfectly on new kernel (2 systems). All is good ...... with Patience! ;D
-
Nope, I've got a clean install of the farewell CD right after it's release and did a d-u every second day and got no offer to install Nvidia-driver 470.63.01.
Whats wrong? Do I have to add something to the sources?
Thank you very much.

Thanks towo,
I missed the non-free part in
500 https://packages.siduction.site/fixes unstable/non-free amd64 Packages
it was not inserted by default and not during install.

Hello- I'd just done an DU. Now I cannot login any-more. Login- screen appears, but that's it.
Kernel: 5.14.3-2-siduction-amd64
Nvidia: 470.63.01-0~siduction.2
So take care... :-[

This looks like a new topic -- I suggest you post it under "Software".
Question #1: Can you log into a tty console?
-
Yes I think you are right- it should be a new topic, and yes, I can login at a tty. Starting X from there as a normal user leads to the same. As root also...
And today it is a mess because I have a lot of work, brrrr

I would have never been able to troubleshoot the issue based on the output in the Xorg.0.log. :P
