Explain better in detail ...  You can't

What's better for you is not better for me or him/her

The best is what works best for you

You should know that as a "programmer"

Gee and all this time I was under the impression fetchmail was only a retriever, maybe he has programmed something we are not privy too and made it do more??  ;D

@piper
same problem do you have with proxy server.
siduction forum and most other you can`t access from a proxy.
what does it (https://www.stopforumspam.com/domain/protonmail.com) tell me now?

I don't need/want a proxy, every country since day one has had a "Raven" and "Karma" to go with it, lets not forget "CyberPoint"  or "DarkMatter"

Tor, proxy, whatever, your isp knows who you are, same with your government  your not fooling anyone.

If you think since day one that the telephone/internet (landline, now also cell) was being used worldwide with millions of people that any government ... (ask ma bell, especially pre cold-war days)

stopforumspam.com and other sites like it, *try to stop the spambots (the majority of people that use/pay for protonmail)

The company is a pile of shit unless you are invested in spambots

You can find all this out for yourself by using a search engine, the best reads are the spam kings who got caught, what they used, what country, and how they got caught. how's that for privacy. (never was such a thing)

I will now put my tin-foil hat & underwear on  :P :P

Man I used to like you, but now all you do is throw insults

I'm just saying there are mail clients with more features that maybe this person hasn't looked into. I used to use a commandline one (I forget the name, I quit using it a while ago).

I can't help this dude fix his package because I don't know much about fetchmail, but I can encourage them to search for alternatives in the meantime

I use protonmail as well and only for secure communication and not as a registration email on any forums or sites. I don't get why protonmail is blacklisted however.

yeah when I first joined I tried to use protonmail but couldn't

siduction (heavily security-minded OS) wants me to use spyware email services like gmail

ironic, isn't it?

It is the spambot king, most spammers/spambots that get paid use it (goes great with other utilities that I won't mention, but is just as dangerous by itself).

A lot of forums, websites, blogs, etc have scripts you can use/share that won't allow proton and other "10 minute mail throwaways" to be used period and for good reason.
