For some time gtkhash-common keeps being removed under cinnamon.
I am not sure, whether this thing is important.

I use  neither  Nautilus nor Thunar, nevertheless I'll better wait

Hello cas,
gtkhash can add an additional "digests" page on the file properties dialog of popular file managers. It currently supports
  • Nautilus (Gome),
  • Thunar (XFCE),
  • Nemo (Cinnamon)
  • Caja (Mate)
The changelog of gtkhash (1.0-1) says:
  * Remove gtkhash-common binary package.

So just go ahead and let it go.
