[EN] Firestarter iso for new instalation
« on: 2013/12/25, 23:35:40 »

Hello. I'm going to do a new instalation of Siduction, but firestarter version has disappeared from mirrors. The new version is yet a RC, so I think is better to install the previos one, isn't it?
All mirrors have only "december" folder with the new RC version.

RC is completely fine for installation.
If I was in a develish mood, I'd say our RC is more stable than an Ubuntu release  8)

but devil is right on this one - firestarter makes absolute no sense today - we have had a perl transition and such nice things - maybe we should react earlier in such cases next time :D

ajavibp: it should :)  - the most notable change in the final will be: the orange version no. will be removed from the wallpapers. And since siduction is a rolling release all package changes will be in the installation with a d-u.

After the release of the rc we fixed some minor bugs, mostly typos, some language things - if you running a english installation, that should not affect you and some bugs in the installer - that don't affect you, because the installer worked for you :) So, have fun with siduction.
