[EN] Anyone Gotten Kde NetworkManager to work with openvpn?

I've installed the networkmanager plugins for openvpn and other services.The gui configuration pops up and allows me to enter data but when i attempt to save the window closes and there is no results as far as saved connections go.Any Thoughts?

Didi you already have an Openvpn configuration on the Server side ? This networkmanager plugin is only a tool to can start a vpn session you already have created, I think. Than you have your certificate files already that you just pick up by the configuration tool of the plugin.

Yes, the 3rd party is configured and functional.


I'm able to establish a connection with
'openvpn tunnel.ovpn'


However, I'd much rather use some of the advanced features of the KDE-NM plasmoid.
It won't allow me to save any VPN types that I attempt to add through it. (PPTP, OVPEN, LT2P)
Are there any permissions I should be looking into to get it to save?
