Title: Packages being removed

Possibly time for a pause :
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
  default-mysql-server galera-3 libdbd-mysql-perl libssl1.0.2 mariadb-client-10.3 mariadb-server-10.3 paperkey python-debian python-xapian
Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove them.
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  apt-xapian-index flashplugin-nonfree gnupg gnupg2 kdepim kdeutils kgpg kleopatra libblockdev-crypto2 libvolume-key1 packagesearch python-apt
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  gnupg1 gnupg1-l10n
The following packages will be upgraded:
  appstream apt-config-icons apt-config-icons-large gir1.2-packagekitglib-1.0 gnupg-l10n libappstream4 libappstreamqt2 libegl-mesa0 libegl1-mesa libgbm1 libgl1-mesa-dev libgl1-mesa-dri

Yeah, for a few hours yesterday somethings wanted to be removed, depending on what packages people have installed some were even held back, waiting a few hours and everything was back to normal :)

And only btw - we will entering the  "stable" sid phase soon (March 12) - it's called deep freeze :D - Time to attract people and let them run into open knifes in a few months.

@David: Package removals are one of the reasons why Sid has it's name. That's just the nature of unstable, there will be transitions etc. And one should try to understand that as fast as possible - and get prepared in the sense of knowing the tools like apt and how to gather informations about bugs, transitions, removals etc pp. Otherwise it will be a bitter wake up if debian goes back to regular after the freeze. And we don't count here the so called "normal" packaging or application bugs. Sid can be hard sometimes, deal with it - but thats the nature of every rolling distribution, descriptions like cutting edge or bleeding edge are there for a reason.

Edit: Thanks god, debian is the very mild form of "cutting edge".
