[EN] Easiest Linux installation I have done
« on: 2021/11/22, 19:34:16 »
It has been over 3 years since I installed a Linux OS -- that was siduction in 2018. This morning I reconfigured the partition layout in my new laptop and installed siduction. Wow -- how simple and fast! I still have customizations to do, but the basic system is up and running beautifully -- here it is:

Thanks guys.  Still tuning it  -- today's discovery: plasma-nm was dropping wifi randomly, and the fix was to disable IPv6 on each wifi connection. There's no IPv6 on my internet service, so that left this system chasing phantoms ....

I fully concur with _dibl_ regarding siduction OS. siduction is running here on four recently build desktop boxes (amd based) and on an older Thinkpad with absolutely no problem.

It is a pleasure to run such a well honed OS.

Big thanks again to the siduction team.
