Code: [Select]
towo@TP:~$ inxi -SNxxx
System:    Host: TP Kernel: 5.13.4-3-siduction-amd64 x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 10.2.1 Console: tty 0 DM: SDDM
           Distro: siduction 21.1.0 C-Blues - xorg - (202102111821) base: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)
Network:   Device-1: Intel 82579LM Gigabit Network vendor: Lenovo ThinkPad T520 driver: e1000e v: kernel port: 5080
bus ID: 00:19.0 chip ID: 8086:1502 class ID: 0200
Device-2: Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 [Taylor Peak] driver: iwlwifi v: kernel port: efa0 bus ID: 03:00.0
chip ID: 8086:0085 class ID: 0280

As you can see, the kernel has no problem with wifi.
It's the same chipset as yours and is working fine here.

@bevo , so you are testing a xorg-iso, then it uses IWD for to connect the network.
On the ISO is an information/ help about how to use in short.
You should find it under the point Info/help or similar.
Right-click on the desktop, choose the siduction menu point (c-blues), on farewell it should be in the task panel, one of the click buttons iirc "!".

@dibl and @towo

I've installed the testing iso of the upcoming siduction release on my box.

As a result I had a working external soundcard again.

There where some error messages:

Quote
dmesg | grep -i "error\|warn\|fail"
[    2.155012] iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: firmware: failed to load iwl-debug-yoyo.bin (-2)

But after a reboot, the soundcard failed again:
