For what it says on Debian's forum (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1079022#124), yes it does.

Does this mean we don't need to hold back kmod any more because its now all fixed and handled accordingly by the Debian maintainers?

Ich habe den Ratschlag befolgt - hatte ich teilweise schon vorher -, aber keinen Erfolg.
Die beiden "Screenshots" zeigen mein Problem:
In der Taskleiste das Aussehen, egal was ich tue. Im "Editmode", daß das Icon eigentlich blau sein sollte, das eingesetzte aber schwarz ist und bleibt, auch wenn ich es (erneut) einsetze. [Ich habe es sogar aus- und dann rückgetauscht, keine Änderung.]

It's just kmod now. But watch the removals -- you need initramfs-tools and initramfs-tools-core.

Ich habe einmal Dolphin in den Startmenü-Favoriten und einmal in der Fensterleiste (hinzugefügt über 'an Fensterleiste anheften' bei einem geöffneten Dolphinfenster). Beide sind und waren immer blau.
Symbolthema und Globales Design sind hier Breeze, Plasma-Stil ist Breeze-Dunkel. Vielleicht mal den Starter von der Fensterleiste lösen, anderes Thema und Iconset auswählen, Starter neu hinzufügen und gucken?

Consequently, I executed a full upgrade. The system booted well afterwards.
It is worth noting, though, that at the time of my upgrade the aforementioned packages were held to their previous version 32+20240611-1 and not upgraded, as you can see below (section "Not upgrading"):
I guess we will have to wait for the repos to "unhold" those packages to see if everything is back to normal.
Consequently, I executed a full upgrade. The system booted well afterwards.
