I've done a full upgrade and have linux-image-6.11.3-1-siduction-amd64 installed. I didn't have any problem connecting to the network through WiFi. You might need to dig a little deeper to pull out any errors that turn up when you boot into the newest kernel as it doesn't seem like there's a generic problem. Which card you have, whether there were any problems building the modules, errors in dmesg or journalctl, that sort of thing.

libunwind8/now 1.6.2-3.1 amd64  [Installiert,aktualisierbar auf: 1.7.2-1]
Jetzt ist mir nicht wirklich klar, warum libunwind8 nicht aktualisiert wird.

Im Forum und dem Netz fand ich bis jetzt nichts dazu.

I did a distribution upgrade today and everything looked good. However on rebooting my wifi is not finding any networks.
Falling back to previous kernel restores my wifi capability.
Should I just wait for a future upgrade to fix this?

It is also true that kernal messages about the hardware are sometimes only for information, and not always indicating a problem. i had a laptop for years that had "possibly missing firmware" messages. Possibly. But it wasn't.

Bei mir lief die Installation recht problemlos durch.

Im Anschluss habe noch das Upgrade auf experimental für paar Anwendungen gemacht.

Und ein paar Einstellungen musste ich neu setzen.

… ganz im Gegenteil … die VMs waren - zum Zeitpunkt des Screenshots - beide an.

Als ich bei der WIN-10-VM einen Snapshot im abgeschalteten Zustand machen wollte, ging der ohne Probleme (hätte ich vielleicht schon im Ausgangspost schreiben sollen )

Wie gesagt, ich bin Newbie in QEMU und dachte, für einen Snapshot müsste die VM laufen.
