Hi all,
I have a bluetooth acoustic set, nice connected and music via clementine, vlc, kaffeine works fine. Perfect!
However, I miss sound on videos played in browsers/web pages like on spiegel.de, heise.de and other.
What package do I miss or what to set?

I have the same issue with my laptop sound. Upgrading from 56 to 57 or newer I lose all sound. Speed is incredible, but with no sound I am keeping it at 56.
I also tried developer addition and nightly but still no joy. Most recent try was yesterday.
Question: Does the new live use Firefox Quantum? If so I will try using that to fix things.

I build my builds with flashplugin-nonfree pepperflashplugin-nonfree browser-plugin-freshplayer-pepperflash and have never had a problem with sound & firefox nightly (not everyones choice, but it works, yes, i can take the heat :P )
apt update; apt install flashplugin-nonfree pepperflashplugin-nonfree browser-plugin-freshplayer-pepperflash
I am using firefox 60.0a1 (2018-01-28) (64-bit)
purging and reinstalling PulseAudio helped a lot of people

my sound is back on youtube as well as on vids from i. e. spiegel.de at Firefox 58.0.
I just played with the alsamixer. at least it seems independant from an update.

I had the problem earlier but could not reconstruct, how i solved it last time. adapting alsamixer settings seemed to be the solution for me.

Many Thanks Piper. Works wonderfully. Did the pulse purge at the same time as the pepper flash after a reboot everything I have tried works. I also upgraded to nightly and it is very fast. Now I just need to find those addon replacements.
