Tritt in zwei komplett aktualisierten Plasma-siduction-Systemen auf.
Nach Boot in den Login-Screen ist die Tastatur tot, Mauscursor reagiert.
Nach Boot bzw. Wechsel in das vt2-Terminal ist die Systemzeit nicht korrekt.
ping-Zugriff auf Internetziele ist unmöglich.
Poweroff (und reboot) hängen (bzw. sind stark verzögert).
Auch mit dem experimentellen Kernel 5.7.2-towo.3-siduction-amd64, nicht mit dem experimentellen Kernel 5.7.2-towo.2-siduction-amd64!

Ich kann Dein Problem auf 2 Systemen nicht nachvollziehen.
Und außer dem patch-5.7.3-rc2, bzw. patch-5.7.3, ist auch keinerlei Änderung zu 5.7.2-towo.2-siduction-amd64

Was man im Fall von Windows 10 und macOS nicht sagen kann. >:(

System verschlüsselt?
Warum nach multi-user.target (init 3) ins getty booten?
Kernel Unverträglichkeit mit der Grafik?
Wenn, wie du sagst alte Hardware, warum Mesa aus experimental?
Und zum guten Schluss, kernel zu modern?

Plymouth niemals installiert,
keine Verschlüsselung,
multi-user.target nur wegen Fehlerdiagnose (ping/date),
auf einen der zwei Systeme ist mesa aus sid,
Kernel Unverträglichkeit mit der Grafik bzw. kernel zu modern: das hat towo nach meinem Verständnis verneint.
Offenbar muss ich die journalctl-Logfiles für die beiden Situationen analysieren >:(

leider keine "Lösung", aber ich kann das Problem mit Kernel 5.7.3 bestätigen. Wie von samoht beschriebenes Verhalten, keyboard tot, Maus beweglich, keine Auflösung der Adressen.
Ist das noch relevant, nachdem das mit neuem Kernel kein mehr Problem ist?

Wie heißt es: "Geteiltes Leid ist ..." :)
Ursache (noch?) unklar.
Vielleicht trägt @towo etwas zur Aufklärung bei.
Falls ich, mit meinen eher oberflächlichen Kenntnissen, etwas aus den journalctl-Logfiles herausbekommen sollte, melde ich mich hier.

Ich kann Dazu nicht viel beitragen, wird wohl eine Regression in 5.7.3 gewesen sein, wenn es in 5.7.4 nicht mehr auftritt.
