Title: Support Ryzen + integrated RX vega
Post by: lanig on 2018/06/13, 12:21:08
Hi all,

I have a recent Pc with an AMD Ryzen (2200 G) and an integrated RX vega graphic card. It was running correctly in xubuntu 17.10 but display is broken on 18.04.

Is this configuration supported by the latest siduction ?

TIA

Why don't you just boot siduction live and let us know?

It ssems Ryzen G is broken on 4.17.x at the moment, if i look in the other Ryzen G treads here.I had no time to look in the kernel bugtracker, if there is anything yet known.

Because I have a very sloooow internet connection (about 1 GB in 10 hours) and thus I need to carefully choose what to download before (im)mobilizing the house connection for 24 hours. Is this reason good enough?

I did saw a few thread about Ryzen here but I don't understand German. Thanks for your technical information, it will help me to find the right distro.

Thanks for the info.

If it can be of any help, Tumbleweed seems to run fine on my box. Too bad it is not Debian based...
