nachdem ich mich gestern mal wieder mit 3D-Druck beschäftigt habe, wollte ich meine Konstruktionsskills wieder schärfen.
Ich öffne über das Startmenü 'FreeCAD', das Programmfenster öffnet sich ... ich klickte auf 'Neu' und das Programmfenster schloss sich wieder. Das kam mir bekannt vor.
Einen Tag vorher hat ich ein ähnliches mit 'blender' (siehe
Post im Forum). Das Problem mit 'blender' konnte ich - wie dort geschildert - über das AppImage temporär lösen.
Ich startete zuerst 'FreeCAD' über die Konsole:

Abgebrochen (Speicherabzug geschrieben)
Basierend auf der Erfahrung mit 'blender' zog ich mir das AppImage. FreeCAD öffnete sich und ließ auch das Beginnen einer neuen Datei zu.

Kurz darauf versuchte ich 'Inkscape'. Beim Klick auf den Eintrag in 'Startmenü/Grafik/Inkscape' öffnete sich der Begrüssungsdialog, in dem Aussehen etc. festgelegt werden können ... und beim Verlassen des Dialogs (nachdem üblicherweise 'Inkscape' startet ... schloss sich zwar der Dialog, aber 'Inkscape' öffnete sich nicht.
Ich startete 'Inkscape' über die Konsole:

Trace/Breakpoint ausgelöst (Speicherabzug geschrieben)
... mit identischem Ergebnis. Hier allerdings brachte die Verwendung des AppImages allerdings keine Lösung ... 'Inkscape' brach beim Zwischenspeichern ab.
Beide Male habe ich auch versucht, 'Freecad' und 'Inkscape' mit Root-Rechten zu starten, mit gleichem negativen Ergebnis.
Gibt's da bei Euch ähnliche Erfahrungen und ggf. Lösungen?
