Hello,
compared to 4K screens and 2-, 3- or even more screens attached the resolution and framerate of webcams is rather little.
Why is it that though that showing webcam consumes endless CPU ressources and makes notebook fan blow like hell? It should be just a little load due to specialized GPU hardware, chips and optimized graphics drivers.
A similar thing happens when viewing videos and media files on youtube.
What can I do to make CPU load less for webcam and media playback?
My current browser is opera btw., but I do not think that this matters much. Results were equalliy bad with MS edge and also with Falkon.
