KDE's systemsettings also does not show it.

It does work (same cable and all) when I run Windows, so I assume it is not a hardware problem.

Any suggestions?

Ich lese:
Device-2: NVIDIA GA106M [GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile / Max-Q] driver: N/A
Welchen Treiber hast du installiert? Hast du den Bereich zu Nvidia im Handbuch gelesen und angewendet?
Die Hardware wird ja erkannt, aber wohl kein geeigneter Treiber gefunden.

Reading:
Device-2: NVIDIA GA106M [GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile / Max-Q] driver: N/A.
Which driver do you have installed? Did you read and apply the Nvidia section in the manual?
The hardware is recognised, but no suitable driver is found.

Thanks for the reply (and sorry about the delay).

I'm using "modesetting":

Code: [Select]
  Display: x11 server: X.Org v: 1.21.1.3 driver: X: loaded: **modesetting**
    unloaded: fbdev,vesa gpu: i915 resolution: 1920x1080~60Hz
  OpenGL: renderer: llvmpipe (LLVM 14.0.3 256 bits) v: 4.5 Mesa 22.0.3

I tried also nouveau and intel, but I could not use the external monitor with them either.  I tried installing the proprietary nvidia driver, but I could not get X to wok with it...

Shouldn't it work with modesetting?
