Meinereiner würde ja mal testen, ob das an KMS oder dem DDX liegt.
Jetzt wirst Du fragen, ja wie denn?
Indem Du mit aktiven KMS bootest, eine minimale x-config anlegst und dort als driver modeset reinmalst.


Und btw, ich für meinen Teil, hab keine solche alte Hardware, kann ergo auch gar nix dazu sagen oder irgendwas testen.

It was a very constructive remark and bluelupo hit the nail on the head, so I thanked him.

We mods/devs/users/visitors/gargoyles, do this for free and on our spare time.

We also have a life outside of siduction/computers, as *most of us do have to work for a living, have family and other things to do outside of computers.

If you do not have patience on forums, I don't know what to tell you without being rude.

tritt das Problem nicht mehr auf.

Hallo samoht,

außer dem neuen Kernel gab es zwischendurch ein neues Mesa und eine neue libdrm,
und siduction stellt ein gefixtes xserver-xorg-video-intel bereit.

Es ist daher fraglich, ob nun gerade der Kernel den Ausschlag gab.

Hi musca,

habe heute die aktuelle siduction-kde-iso noch mal in den Textmodus (Bootparameter: nomodeset 3!) gebootet, und dann die von Dir angeführten Pakete aktualisiert.
Et voilá: Problemloser Wechsel in den Grafikmodus
