The latest du with kernel 4.9 gives me 4 ACPI errors..AE not found. Then when I got in, the internet didn't work, programs like kate would open but then not respond, rebooting stopped for many items. I rebooted into the last kernel 4.8.14 for me and all is well.

I get directly a Kernel Panic
-
Got that too ...

Hi,
I get these firmware and APIC messages for three days now. But the system is running just fine.
-
Mine is running fine too, i am just worried about the messages ...
-
Ich hab das gleiche Probleme. Beim Booten eine Endlosschleife mit ständigem Neustart.
Der 4.8er Kernel macht dagegen kein Problem.

-
My ACPI errors persisted through each 4.9 kernel upgrade and my system ran inconsistently buggy. The problem has been solved for me by doing a motherboard BIOS update.
-
Latest BIOS (4/28/2016) is still on the Mainboard (990FX Extreme9). There is no newer one.
