grub 0.97 error 13 with kernel 4.2.0.1-amd64
« on: 2015/10/20, 09:12:33 »
I have a multiboot system with Grub 0.97 installed in each of the system partitions.
I finally did the DU.
Now I have a new grub entry for kernel 4.2.0.1-amd64.
Choosing this causes "Error 13: Invalid or unsupported executable format"
However, when choosing one of the 2 remaining kernel 3.x entries siductions boots up to the GUI.

Any suggestions?

Hello ubahn1,

sorry, you got no answers and i see three reasons:

Having grub installed in every system is ugly.
4.2.0.1-amd64 is not a siduction kernel name.
sidux did switch to grub2 about six years ago.

complex, alien, outdated - no fun.

Maybe it is default debian kernel?
