[EN] Failing to Boot into a HyperV Gen2-VM
« on: 2023/03/01, 14:36:55 »
Hello everyone,

I'm very interested in trying out siduction in a Gen2-VM on Hyper-V (Windows 11), but encountered an error while booting: "PCI: Fatal: No config space access function found. Waiting for up to 30s for devices to settle...". I've searched the internet for a solution and found that this error is supposedly rather harmless, but I haven't been able to find a way to bypass or skip it. I also can't press any buttons in the BusyBox cli that comes up after the 30 seconds have passed.

So far, no other Debian-based distro or any other Linux distro on Hyper-V has given me this error. Unfortunately, I'm bound to Hyper-V, and deactivating it, changing to a Gen1-VM, or switching to VMWare or VirtualBox is sadly not an option for me. Secure Boot is already disabled.

Is there any way to skip or bypass this error for siduction? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

With best regards
