« on: 2014/10/13, 13:25:03 »
After d-u today some ugly kde is starting instead of xfce if I don't manually check to start xfce every time I log in.

XFCE 64 bit multiarch.

EDIT: For now I solved it by removing all other files in /usr/share/xsessions except "Xfce Session"

Hi vilde

First of all how it has landed there kde since you have xfce.
As I have saed in experimental forum if you use addpkg or you have a mixed environment you are on your's own.

Tough to  fix this you should do one of the following:
1) Change started session from disply manager menu.
2) Edit .dmrc under your's home directory to start xfce instead of kde..

Thank you.

Thanks convbsd

I probably installed something long time ago, on that computer that pulled in the kde things, I don't even remember what. It's not my every day computer. But something during d-u caused this and that's a little ??? because if I it must be very long time since I did install anything there.

Similar problem here. I found the command

Code: [Select]
update-alternatives --config x-session-manager

to solve it.
