With recent  nvidia-legacy-304xx-driver upgrade I'm getting

   libxvmcnvidia1
Debian forum yields no clues

I let it go. If I understand correcly what "apt-cache show libxvmcnvidia1" says it is replaced with libgl1-nvidia-legacy-304xx-glx in *nvidia-legacy-304.116-2.

Ok, you can't code, but you still might be able to write a bug report for Debian's sake
