I know, that's a lot, but if you want to have a useful debug output you will need it.
You can see it if the output is useful or not, the crash dialogue shows yellow stars in the upper right corner and telling you if it is useful or not.
If the output is useful you don't have to install that debugging packages, in most cases they are needed for it.
Well, it is your choice.
Which one of the phonon backends (vlc/gstreamer) do you actually use when KNotify is crashing?
Do you have sound notifications activated?
I tested krusader, deleting a bunch of files (cleaning up my home), noting happens, everything went fine. (no sound notifications activated).

Ps. the best way to provide the crash dialogue is to save it to a file and use
siduction-paste <file>
and give us the url, because it will be a very long and better readable if you use a paste service for it.
