I have a 64-bit siduction "Riders" RazorQT VM, that I had not opened or upgraded for a few weeks. I used vbox to open the VMware .vmdk, then ran dist-upgrade -- 360 packages needed upgraded, plus some new packages were installed. It ran quite smoothly and quickly -- I saw no issues of any kind. I used "-d" download only, as I could not figure out how to get to tty1 from inside the VM (I'm not proficient with vbox). This is:
