I have been using two 32" Viewsonic monitors for quite some time. The problems described above occurred on the previous board an Asus Prime Z170 with INtel I7 and now also with the new motherboard TUF GAMING B550-PLUS with AMD CPU and amdgpu (see inxi below).

My Desktopsetting -> "Set up workspace": Folder View.

About the problems:
1. No monitor standby:
After 10min the monitors should switch off, they do that for about 10s, then everything is bright again for 10min. so, I have no standby on my monitors

2. if I leave the computer some hours running, many "ghost icons" appear (more and more the longer you wait - mostly from "Chromium"). After some time the second screen is inactive and I have the same picture on both monitors. You have to manually switch it back to dual monitor mode. This happens nearly every day!

3. The second screen (via HDMI) has two "lives":
The first (of the both second) hast all icons and widgets and sometimes they are not there (I call this the second (second) monitorscreen) , then I have another backgroudpic. And I could configure it independently. This happens quite often even after a longer period of time. When I restart, the original second screen is not always back.... it can take a week, but then it is back... Magic ;-)

4. The new system seems to be slower than the 4 years old Intel solution. A second thread follows. Firmware-amd-graphics is installed.

I had all these problems with the old and now also with the new board (with newly installed Siduction!)
So it has been going on like this for a very long time... annoying of course

My question: is this only true for me, how much do the monitors contribute? What proportion has plasma. My hope that everything would be better with Plasma 5.19 has not been proven right.
Do you need more information?

Es geht also schon sehr lange so... nervt natürlich
