I am looking for some information about the kernel. I'm interested to know who is responsible for the kernel and what direction will be followed. ie will the aptosid kernel be adopted, or repackaged, or will a base debian/sid kernel be used, or will a customized siduction kernel be used. If a custom siduction kernel is used, could you describe the direction and what differentiates it from the other kernels (desktop or server focus, rt options, etc). Also, how often will the kernel be updated... I know slh rolls a new one out almost daily, and I never understood the benefit of that (I updated the kernel manually when I thought it was beneficial).

For instance latest siduction kernels do implement the BrainFuckScheduler!
