It does connect here, but you can't access the files on the phone in dolphin. It's a known bug and it sucks. No workaround that I know of.

Hi

you can try to "add storage location" in the settings of kde-connect an your mobile device, to access them from dolphin.

This was working a couple of days ago to send and browse files bidirectionally. Now it's not. I checked apt history and there has been no update of siduction's kdeconnect (last version dated Dec 31 in the repo). There was an update to the phone's version on March 23 but it has definitely been working since then.
If I try to browse files I can see the phone's Downloads folder from both the phone and siduction but nothing else. There was a similar problem (but not the same symptoms) for a long time up to version 1.3.2 but that was fixed with 1.3.3.
There have been upgrades to some of kdeconnect's dependencies such as libc* and gcc*, maybe that caused the breakage.

This is working for me, but in this case there is only that one location you can browse in dolphin.
For the whole filesystem I use sftp, and this is working fine.

For the record, the filemanger i use on the phone has an option to start sftp.

Edit: If you add / (maybe primary called or a number) of your phone, you are able to browse the whole filsystem with kde-connect.
