« on: 2023/02/27, 14:53:17 »
There is a fresh image for KDE Plasma on testbuilds that hopefully fixes some flaws with Snapshot Rollback. Please post your findings here.

Es gibt ein neues Image für KDE Plasma auf testbuilds, das hoffentlich einige Fehler mit Snapshot Rollback behebt. Bitte postet eure Erkenntnisse hier.

These are completely normal isos, or what does "testbuild" mean?? The gnome build would be tempting :)

Testbuilds are builds we do approximately once a month. They are not official releases, as all the testing they get is being booted and installed once. Some of them of course run on our machines and receive more testing. They usually work just fine, there is no history of bugs or failure. Another difference to official releases is, that we also build images for currently unmaintained desktops like Gnome, Cinnamon or MATE, that are not officially released right now.

You might end up pulling your hair out, just joking. Those builds would be fun to play with though even though not officially supported by the siduction devs. At least it's good there's builds for testing new features and such that might come in some future official release.

Test builds are those for testing new things.

I am really impressed and exited by Siduction Linux!
I have quite recent hardware and in times like these I learned to appreciate a community distribution like Debian!
Sad it took 20 years for me to take a serious look at Debian...
Maybe Ubuntu kept me away ;)
