Hallo Zusammen,
seit dem Kernel 4.14 verbraucht systemd-udevd 20-50% der CPU.
Es sieht so aus als ob ständig etwas ein- und ausgebunden wird:
udevadm monitor -k
monitor will print the received events for:

Beim 4.13. Kernel habe ich das Problem nicht.
Hat jemand ein Idee woran das liegen könnte?

ich habs auch gehabt - deinstalliert und wieder installiert und Ruhe war ... Keine Ahnung, worans gelegen hat, ich war kurz davor, amok zu laufen

danke für den Tipp.
Habe die alle 14er Kernel deinstalliert und dann den neusten installiert.
Hat leider keine Veränderung gebracht. Systemd-udevd verbraucht weiter bis zu 50% der CPU.
Hattest du vielleicht das komplette System neu installiert?

Wenn ich es versuche sollen viele Pakete mit entfernt werden:
apt -d remove udev
Paketlisten werden gelesen... Fertig
Abhängigkeitsbaum wird aufgebaut.
Statusinformationen werden eingelesen.... Fertig

hat nicht geholfen.

ich war böse und hab dpkg --purge --force-all udev genommen - ob das so ne gute Idee war - keine Ahnung :D
und dann hab ich udev mit apt wieder installiert

Es funktioniert aber leider nur bis zum Neustart.
Dann ist die hohe CPU-Last von systemd-udevd wieder zurück.
Wo könnte hier der Grund liegen?

Bei meinem uralt-Laptop verursacht bluez das - terminal auf und journalctl --follow könnte helfen, das einzugrenzen. Ok, bei dem Lappi war ich erst mal ganz stump und habe die störende Hardware einfach per Hardware-Schalter abgeschaltet.
