Semplice Linux is an Openbox based distro that also has a Debian Sid base and its home's in Italy :)
Their site is:

A shallow comparison between the release candidates of Semplice 2.0 and Siduction LXDE 11.1:

Pretty good review that shows the differences and similarities between the two distros. LXDE is Openbox with standardized elements such as PCManFM for file manager
while Semplice is plain Openbox and using ROX-Filer

I have (at one time) replaced OpenBox in LXDE with Metacity in another distro. In other words, LXDE is not bound to OpenBox.

I think Semplice was sexy too, it gaining popularity on http://www.distrowatch.com
Found my replacement for crunchbang and PCLinuxOS Gnome.

I've tested #! and even had it tracking sid its not too shabby and they just put out a new snapshot.
Semplice is quite a nice Italian distro with a clean desktop (yes I'm half Italian :) ) and I've also noticed its gaining traction on DW too which means Debian Sid is making a big splash now.
