Hallo,

sowohl bei Live- als auch installiertem siduction-patience-kde-amd64-latest.iso  habe ich auf dem - sehr alten - Dell Inspiron 1545 eine 5 Minuten Wartepause mit blinkendem Cursor.

Danach normaler Boot, Anmeldung, alles prima!!

Wenn ich bei Beginn des Blackscreens gleich die entf-Taste drücke (ca 20-30x) fährt das System ohne die Pause flott hoch.

Dachte zuerst es hinge mit einer eingebauten SSD zusammen, aber ganz ohne HD tritt das Problem genauso auf.

Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich die Pause beim Boot loswerden kann? Das Iso bootet auf anderer Hardware ganz normal, es ist schon der Dell der zickt. BIOS ist die "neueste" Version, da ist nichts mehr zu machen.

If you haven't already done it, try the "nomodeset" boot option.
