[DE] Chainloader nach aptosid funktioniert nicht

Hallo,

ich habe MANDRIVA 2010.2 auf /dev/sdc9 mit GRUB1 und möchte von dort via
Chainloader aus der menu.lst

das aptosid (GRUB2) starten. Habe aptosid sowohl auf ext3 als auch ext4
ausprobiert.
Da erhalte ich aber folgende Meldung:

chainloader +1
Error 13: Invalid or unsupported executable format

Habe GRUB2 mittels:
grub-install --force /dev/sdc7
in die Partition geschrieben.

Liegt das nun an GRUB2 von aptosid, weil das gleiche mit Ubuntu 10.10
auf /dev/sdc1 funktioniert.
Folgende Erklärung zu Error 13 habe ich gefunden:

13 : Invalid or unsupported executable format
    This error is returned if the kernel image being loaded is not recognized as Multiboot or one of the supported native formats (Linux zImage or bzImage, FreeBSD, or NetBSD).

Demnach müßte es am aptosid-Kernel liegen.

grub2 aus grub1 chainloaden hat bei mir so funktioniert:

Wieso ist bei dir sdc eigentlich "(hd0" ?

Im Root einer Partition ist Grub2 auf Blocklisten angewiesen, was wackelg ist und deswegen nur mit grub-install --force machbar ist!

Wenn du Ubuntu Grub2 hast kannst du dort wunderbar aptosid auch bei Kernel upgrades starten, zB (ubuntu) /etc/grub.d/40_custom:

Ok. - das funktioniert. Aber die Schrift beim Bootvorgang ist jetzt grün.

die grüne Schrift kommt bei mir vom GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX = 1024x768x16. Wenn an letzter Stelle x32 steht ist die Schrift auch wieder weiß. Bei x8 werden die "Boot-Pinguine" zu Geistern....
