Today it was reported on the Debian mailing list (https://lists.debian.org/debian-kde/2023/01/msg00039.html) that Plasma 5.27 Beta has been uploaded to Unstable and is available in siduction accordingly. I have written a blog post (https://linuxnews.de/2023/01/24/kde-plasma-27-beta-in-debian-unstable/) about it in German. Please kindly throw it against your preferred online translator.

@titan, "blog post" in devil's post is a link -- click it.
Today I pulled KDE 5.26.90 in with full-upgrade, and several LibreOffice packages were removed, but most of them are OK and still functional, FYI.

Dibi, thanks I looked all over the site for a link, getting old

I don't use KDE but rather LXQT and todays upgrade wants to remove several Libreoffice packages and upgrade several others.
Edit/addition:
This is from my Cinamon install. Libreoffice in not currently installed as it's not really desktop use. It seems that it's not really KDE related. I'm sure it will be sorted shortly.

It seems I have the same problem in my two old aptosid installs, but not in my newer siduction laptop.
I wonder what is the difference...
Here is the "problem resolver" output: https://paste.debian.net/1268353/
EDIT: It seems I could force install plasma-desktop to "fix it" (followed by DU, I suppose). Only libkf5screen7 and lxqt-config would be removed.
# apt -s install plasma-desktop

libkf5screen7 is replaced by libkf5screen8, so it is not a problem.

Basically: lo-core depends on lo-common, but lo-common breaks lo-core

Latte Dock doesn't work anymore for me. Anyone else?
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1029615 (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1029615)

This morning almost everything went through. libkf5screen-bin and libkf5screen-data was held back. Otherwise smooth going.
-
Here too. DU went through, but now using the mouse for inputs in plasma clicks are recognized with a latency (5 sec.).
Example: when I right click on the desktop it takes some seconds until the menu pops up, same with Kate using the ribbon. Someone any idea?
Sorry for my English.
-
Here, too, the upgrade now ran cleanly. Previously, there were problems with the Plasmaoid clock in the control bar. And also the desktop background "Wallpaper" did not work. Everything is OK again.
KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.102.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8
Kernel Version: 6.1.8-1-siduction-amd64 (64-bit)

Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics 620

Latte Dock doesn't work for me too
-
Latte Dock has unfortunately been unmaintained (https://www.phoronix.com/news/Latte-Dock-Ends) for a while now and nobody has stepped up to take over. Looks like the end of that.
-
Who needs latte dock nowdays, while we can have a floating panel now?

Did you set grub to bootsplash?
-
where can i look?
-
The best place to look is
https://wiki.debian.org/plymouth#Configuration
You have to edit the /etc/default/grub and ad splash to the command line.
But read the wiki above.

Thank you

Plasma 5.27 was released on February 14, still no packages uploaded to experimental (that I can see at least).
https://kde.org/announcements/plasma/5/5.27.0/
Hopefully it's not too far off. Really miss Preinings repo... :/
-
@dpanter
Fully agree.
Even the current KDE gear packages from 2 February are still not complete.
When Norbert Preining was allowed to take care of the KDE packages in Debian before he was kicked out of the project, this was unthinkable.
