I can't tell you what is right, what is wrong in that case.

i have it installed without™ any problems so far.

e2fsprogs:
  Installed: 1.47.0-1
  Candidate: 1.47.0-1

Read the bug report and decide by yourself, or maybe someone can tell us more about.
As far as I understand, effect this bug/feature special use cases as the installer from debian, vm creation ...
