Title: thunderbird broken? (EDIT: apparmor related)
Post by: qord on 2019/08/13, 15:06:10
Since yesterday, I have two systems that cannot start Thunderbird any more with the following message:

Code: [Select]
cord@ping:~$ thunderbird
Unable to init server: Unable to create socket: Permission denied
Error: cannot open display: :0
So far Thunderbird is the only program with this error messages I have encountered.
EDIT: Found in another thread that "apparmor=0" might fix this - I can confirm that it does.

If you don't use debians thunderbird, you won't have this problem :)
But yes, "apparmor=0" will fix it

I use thunderbird nightly (daily)
