I just ran an upgrade to kernel 4.6-1 with Nvidia driver 352.79-7.1, X is not starting because the nvidia module is failing to load.
Should we be upgrading to 364.19 in the siduction experimental repo??

Make sure that non-free is enabled in fixes.list
If not, enable it, apt update

Hello piper,
terroreek did already mention the version number from our fixes repo.
Hello terroreek,
is the module listed as "installed" in "dkms status"?
Some users reported, they had to do a "dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-4.6.1-towo.1-siduction-amd64".
My observation was:
The build of the module failed when both packages (kernel 4.6.1 and nvidia 352.79-7.1) were included in the dist-upgrade, because the kernel was installed before the driver, and so both packages didn't build a module.
Does "dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-4.6.1-towo.1-siduction-amd64" work for you?
