Welchen Treiber hast du installiert? Hast du den Bereich zu Nvidia im Handbuch gelesen und angewendet?
Die Hardware wird ja erkannt, aber wohl kein geeigneter Treiber gefunden.

It does work (same cable and all) when I run Windows, so I assume it is not a hardware problem.

@towo also i915.enable_psr=0 als Bootparameter hat das Problem leider nicht behoben. Edit: Aber vorgestern hattest du mir im IRC ja intel_iommu=intgpu_off empfohlen; den habe ich anscheinend falsch eingetragen, jetzt hat das doch funktioniert.

Danke also für die Hilfe! Ich hoffe, dass das ganze jetzt endgültig gelöst ist, aber den Fehler zu reproduzieren ist wirklich nicht einfach. Leider ist er bisher immer zufällig aufgetreten. Bis jetzt sieht es aber ganz gut aus.

Hallo zusammen,

nach einer frischen Siduction-Installation und anschließendem full-upgrade habe ich ein Problem: Mein Desktop flackert; nicht permanent aber von Zeit zu Zeit. Sollte das Flackern auftreten, kann ich es immer sofort abstellen, wenn ich die Maus bewege, aber irgendwie komisch ist das schon.
Mit anderen, auch sehr aktuellen Distros ist mir das nicht passiert; nicht bei Arch und nicht bei einem regulären Debian Sid. Mit dem Kernel hat es scheinbar auch nichts zu tun, es flackert unter 5.15 genauso wie unter 5.17. Übrigens ist es auch egal, ob ich Xfce oder KDE benutze: Vor ein paar Wochen war das auch schon so, nur jetzt wollte ich das Problem mal angehen.

Notfalls könnte ich auch einfach auf Updates warten, immerhin müssten kritische Pakete ja früher oder später so oder so rausfliegen.

Wie es aussieht, ist es wohl ein Problem mit libreoffice-gtk3.

Ich habe libreoffice-qt5 und libreoffice-kf5 deinstalliert und libreoffice-gtk3 installiert. Dann kann ich den linken Bereich nicht bearbeiten.
Wenn ich das wieder rückgängig mache, dann funktioniert wieder alles.
