Title: [Solved]how do I pin the kernel (hold) so that it doesn't update to a newer one?

I would like to keep the kernel I have as it works - I don't want to risk a newer one.

Remove the kernel-metapackage and the header meta-package. So you will never get a newer kernel.

Our kernels are in general the most stable packages in siduction :)

Thanks guys, when I have a good kernel that works with my old machine I like to keep it :)
