Title: PAE Dual Core
Post by: Wanderer on 2012/12/14, 04:58:54
Please,

I have an AMD Sempron 140 that I have been able via my motherboard to use the dual core capabilities of the CPU and it will be as an X2.

I've done this with MintDebian Mate and I think it was because of the PAE kernel.  No other system of late can boot when I select the dual core.

Is there a way to accomplish this with Siduction?

Thanks.

Hi Wanderer

there is a PAE kernel in SID and alternatively you can install the liquorix PAE kernel

PAE has nothing to do with SMP. Both Kernels are SMP enabled.
