Title: Help with upgrade (kdenext)
Post by: effo on 2015/12/14, 22:59:36
Hi,
I have a kdenext system that hasn't been updated for a couple of weeks. Some kde-packages wants to be removed:
Quote
  kde-plasma-desktop kde-standard kde-workspace kde-workspace-bin
  kde-workspace-data kdebase-workspace-bin libkactivities-bin okular
  plasma-desktopthemes-artwork qml-module-org-kde-activities
  siduction-art-kde-december siduction-art-ksplash-december
  siduction-settings-kde-december

It has been like that for a couple of days. Can I put stuff on hold to upgrade, or shall I just wait?

let them go, they are no longer needed,
except okular -> apt-mark hold okular

a little advice on this: be cautions regarding the kdenext -> debian transition. there are some threads that suggest to wait until a clean upgrade path is available
