Morning!
Well, I was looking for a new distro that was Debian based as I do not like all the sh*t that Ubuntu knocks into it's bloatware and I found Siduction
Now my problem, this could be related to the setup of my system, AHCI on SATA drives but keep in mind that I do not wish to change this because of my other drives and systems.
I 'burnt' the image on to my USB using Unetbootin, got the lovely Unetbootin message started with 'Default' (486 option),
while the Kernel is doing all of it's magic Siduction is trying to find removable media (this was error #1) and crashed on that, few reboots later and it's trying to detect my disks (again, could be AHCI but I wish to avoid changing it). There is no way past this with my knowledge.
I will be editing this post soon with a video of my UEFI (device selection) and the error.
ISO:
Siduction - RidersOnTheStorm XFCE i386
siduction-12.2.0-ridersonthestorm-lxde-i386-201212092122
System:
ASRock 990FX Extreme3 (Debian 6 and 7 works fine on this)
using built in SATA controller
AMD Bulldozer 4100
AMD Radeon HD 6770
Thanks,
-Dolan.
