There must be some package shuffling/upgrading going on. Both Gnome, Gnome-core and Budgie will be removed if you upgrade at the moment. I would wait it out.

This is part of the libsane mania, so if you have libsane1 installed, it is probably wanting to remove Gnome and Budgie desktops.

The solution is to remove libsane1 and install libsane.

And ignore the QT-heads and their remarks in the above posts.  ::) ;D
