Hallo,
nachdem ich mein altes Laptop auf systemd umgestellt habe bekomme ich während des boot-Vorgangs jede Menge Fehlermeldungen (siehe Anhang). Nicht dass mich das jetzt groß beunruhigen würde denn das System startet ganz normal aber vielleicht sollte man ja doch das eine oder andere genauer betrachten bzw. gerade biegen. Könnte da einer der Experten vielleicht mal ein geschultes Auge drauf werfen? Danke!

Hi Peter,
so als erster Schnellschuß, die Fehlermeldungen zu ntpdate könnten evtl. davon kommen das der ntpdate vor dem Netzwerk gestartet wird, was dann natürlich so nicht funktioniert.
Zeig mal den Output vom Kommenado "systemctl --failed".

Hhm ... da kommt nicht viel:
0 loaded units listed. Pass --all to see loaded but inactive units, too.
To show all installed unit files use 'systemctl list-unit-files'.

Du kannst nptdate getrost deinstallieren, es ist nur nützlich bei Geräten, die selten am Netz sind. Bei mir startete das auch zu früh und verusachte einen langen Hänger beim Boot. Seit das weg ist, startet das Notebook in unter 4 Sekunden.

Hi Peter,
die ntpdate Fehler habe ich auch, das kommt vermutlich davon das in SID das ntpdate/ntp Paket noch keine systemd-service-files hat. Ich habe dazu manuell ein korrektes ntpdate.service erstellt, aber die Fehler bleiben. Das Problem ist das ntpdate seine Abfragen machen will bevor das Netzwerk da ist (obwohl das Abhängigkeit im ntpdate.service File hinterlegt ist).

Kann ich dann ntp auch deinstallieren oder benötige ich das Paket um meine Systemuhr zu synchronisieren?

nimm ntpdate wech und ntp anstatt - ntp hatte mal gravierende Probleme, ntpdate nicht - das hat sich wohl geändert :)

Danke für den Tip. Habe ntpdate deinstalliert und die alte Kiste ist schon ein wenig schneller aber bei der ewig langen Liste der udev-event Fehlermeldungen hängt das Gerät auch noch eine ganze Weile. Kann man das auch noch eliminieren?

kann es sein das auf dem Laptop noch hal installiert ist, der müsste doch mittlerweile obsolet sein. Bei mir ist keiner mehr installiert. Daher müssten dann auch die Fehlermeldungen kommen (siehe unten).

Was mir gerade auffällt: ich habe keinen LVM da könnte ich doch den entprechenden service (z. B. lvm2-activation-early.service) ausschalten oder?

Ich halte das immer so: Was ich definitiv nicht brauche, fliegt raus - bei mir sind das
apt-get purge lvm2 mdadm hal
hal muss natürlich weg, du könntest auch noch die btrfs, reiser und xfs-pakete entsorgen, falls du nichts damit in Benutzung hast.

von mysql sind auch einige Fehlermeldungen im Logfile. Du hast vermutlich einen MySQL-Server installiert?

gibt es für btrfs, reiser und xfs eigene Pakete? Habe mit apt-cache search nichts dergleichen gefunden.
Auch ich entsorge gerne unnötiges Zeug das ich eh nicht benutze aber da ich nicht der große Experte bin bleibe ich da eher etwas vorsichtig. :)

Die Meldungen zu "systemd-udevd[434]: failed to execute '/lib/udev/mtp-probe" hatte ich bei mir auch, die ließen sich durch Nachinstallation von libmtp-runtime beseitigen.
Für die "nicht benötigten Pakete" könntest Du es z.B. mit
apt-get purge btrfs-tools mdadm reiserfsprogs xfsprogsversuchen (check das nochmal für Deine Anforderungen). Zur Suche nach sowas würde ich statt apt-cache search nach installierten Paketen mit z.B. "dpkg -l | grep -i $suchbegriff" gucken.

Danke für den Tip. Mit der Nachinstallation des Pakets und dem Tilgen weiterer unnötiger Pakete ist die Fehlerliste nochmals geschrumpft und umfaßt in der Masse noch mysql-Meldungen und wenn ich die so anschaue dann muss ich mal suchen wo ich die Dinge für InnoDB ausschalten kann denn das brauche ich nicht. Für den Rest habe ich noch keine Ideen.

Fix die my.cfg - is dokumentiert, eventuell ist eine Fehlermeldung an debian angebracht
