I'm guessing that there is a committee that- from time to time- upgrades the manual.

Here I asked "how to scroll back through a dist-upgrade report; and several replied with primo solutions:

I don't want to lose that. And I wonder if I'm the only one who tends to lose these pearls of wisdom.

Can we perhaps think of a simple way for users to suggest manual additions (& other changes) to the committee ? And that doesn't add more work for hard-working volunteers ?

You can add them yourself to trhe wiki. We might pick them up and put them in a manual page.
