As most of you will have heard by now, Debian 9 »Stretch« was released on the weekend. That means, Sid could be more active over the next few weeks and broken packages or harmful situations could occur. Please be careful with dist-upgrades and read carefuly what apt puts out during the upgrade.

Wie ihr bestimmt mittlerweile alle mitbekommen habt, wurde am Wochenende Debian 9 »Stretch« veröffentlicht. Das bedeutet, dass Sid aktiver werden könnte und potenziell kaputte Pakete und gefährliche Situationen enthalten kann. Bitte achtet in eurem eigenen Interesse darauf, was apt während des Upgrades ausgibt.

thanks for the explicite warning. I took care and d-u'ed (roundabout > 100+ packs) and here everything ran fine through (sorry lost the list).

Today mostly Libreoffice was to be removed. Lokks like a transition going on.

Heute sollten die meisten Libreoffice-Pakete entfernt werden. Scheint ein Uopdate/Transition im Gange zus ein.

Dist-upgraded today including Libreoffice. No problems so far
Linux is highly user friendly, it is just highly selective who it is friends with.

Yes, its obviously done. Only old libreoffice-gtk gets removed.
