Zweig installiert.]
-
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/include/linux/mmzone.h?h=v6.7.3&id=3a01daace71b521563c38bbbf874e14c3e58adb7
-
@towo: Danke für die Erklärung.

-
Gefixte nvidia-driver Pakete sind im Fixes Repo.
Fixed nvidia-driver packages are in the fixes repo.
-
Wow -- fast work! Thank you @towo!

Nicht mein Vedienst, Dank geht an die Gentoo Community.
Not my service, thanks to the Gentoo community.

Nicht mein Vedienst,
Nixda, so geht's. Danke towo ;-)
No, no, no. Thanks towo.

Ok, thanks to the Gentoo Community, too.

Ahhh -- but it was YOU who brought it to the siduction community! ::)
-
Jedenfalls herzlichen Dank!

Drat, it seems not to like me. Maybe it's my nvidia version, nvidia-tesla-470, being incorrect:

Most likely you (now) run into the problem that initiated this thread. Then, you need a "new" kernel-driver.
@towo packaged a new driver for us with the siduction "fixes" repository. But this is for "nvidia-current" only! You need one for "nvidia-tesla-470", and I do not now, if this even exists (yet).
-
I have now uploaded patched nvidia-graphics-drivers-tesla-470 packages, i can't test it, so who needs it, try it.
-
It's not showing when I do an update. I've got
http://ftp.uni-stuttgart.de/siduction/fixes unstable main contrib non-free
Do I need to change that?
(I'm shutting down for the night, maybe you already have, so we'll find out about it tomorrow. And thanks.)
-
Most likely you have to wait for the synchronization of the "Stuttgart" mirror.
And most probably you have to add "non-free-firmware" to your package flavors, may be, all of them.
-
It was just waiting for synchronization. Installed now and working. Many thanks, towo.
-
Just for the record:
nvidia-tesla-470* 470.223.02-3.1~siduction.1
works fine.
Thanks.
