SOLVED: Audacious broken
« on: 2018/10/30, 09:04:24 »
the new version of audacious (3.10) is broken - packaging changes - it refers to audacious-plugins which is not built anymore not packaged yet.

Solution for now: apt-mark hold audacious audacious-plugins, will fix it later today (maybe)

I guess it hasn't made it to the [Debian Unstable] repos yet or there's another issue.  Audacious still to removed on my system.  I prevent it by holding libaudcore5.

Do you have the siduction-fixes-repo in your sources? Should look like:
Code: [Select]
deb http://packages.siduction.org/fixes unstable main contrib non-free

My apologies...I've edited my prior post to indicate that I meant the Debian Unstable repos.  I dual-boot Debian Stable and Debian Unstable on both of my computers. No, I do not have any Siduction repos in my sources.  Thank you for the reply, though.

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=912315  - it is not even in salsa - so it will take some time, a week, a month, a year - who know ...

one could use a sane distribution or add the sane distributions fixes - they are build against sid. Or just wait - i forgot to mention that i get maintenace access to the debian multimedia repos today.
