Ok, you can't code, but you still might be able to write a bug report for Debian's sake

Oh!  More kernels, more options!

Linux is all about choice and i appreciate having choice.
Philosophically, having choice implies the existence of free will and the antithesis of fate, chance and predestination.

Happy April's Fools   :)

There is no "Ivan Gotyaovich" working on systemd

Quote

GitHub repo:

https://github.com/systemdaemon/systemd/tree/master/src/linux

which was made by a guy named Ivan Gotyaovoich [sic!] who joined on 18.03.2015 and has just one commit - the init commit to the said repo

...

I'd liked it to be an April's Fool hoax, but two days early?

Might still be, because DW is a weekly.

hmm - a specialized systemd-kernel would be pretty cool

Half the internet believed that hoax. What is wrong with you people? :)
Even though I agree, it is pretty sick to publish something like that two days early.

systemD is an init system specialized for Linux. The only thingy missing from the Linux kernel special for systemD is kdbus, which presumably will reach the mainline in a few weeks. Hopefully the init mechanic provided by systemD will then be changed from internal special systemD units to transparent and open for every one to configure and filesystem based.
